Restoration Work
Offering services in the restoration and conservation of antique fireplaces, including cleaning, chip repair, crack removal, polishing and stain removal, carving of replacement panels, restoration of capitals, cornices, friezes and other ornate architectural stone details, as well as restoration of old and faded memorials.
Commissions
Offering bespoke design and sculpture services in a variety of stone mediums including limestone, marble, granite, and portland stone. Working with architects and private clients Susanne’s work ranges from large scale figurative sculptures to small scale garden sculptures, memorials, markers, ornate name plaques and lettering.
Profile
Coming from a long tradition of stone carvers and quarry men, Susanne is a fifth generation stone carver and sculptor. She is passionate about continuing the cultural heritage of stone carving which has been synonymous with rural Dublin for generations. She has worked on numerous private commissions and projects, specializing in the restoration, reproduction, cleaning and conservation of antique marble carved fireplaces and architectural stone.
