With extensive experience in the restoration and conservation of antique fireplaces (including Adams and Bossi), Susanne specializes in cleaning, chip repair, crack removal, polishing and stain removal techniques - including carving of replacement panels when conservation is no longer possible.

Architecture

Trained in the old traditions of stone carving, Susanne appreciates the importance of preserving historic architecture and has been involved in restoring stone details in numerous buildings in Dublin, working on the restoration of capitals, cornices, friezes and other ornate architectural stone details.

Monumental

Susanne’s services extend to the restoration of old and faded memorials. This includes cleaning, re-cutting and painting of old lettering, sharpening of faded features, and reconstruction and replacement of parts that are beyond repair using traditional methods and suitable new stone.
